Théoule sur Mer and La Figueirette
The La Baie de la Méditerranée residence, with its typical Côte d’Azur architecture, is located on the Corniche d’Or road connecting Cannes to Saint-Raphaël. The Figueirette district, with its marina, sandy beach, and the magnificent coves of the Corniche d’Or, has managed to retain its calm and intimate atmosphere while offering numerous local activities. A free shuttle runs year-round to the center of Théoule.
For food lovers, during the season there are more than six restaurants offering a variety of styles, including one with a mini-market selling bread and pastries. On Sunday mornings, the market is held with excellent fruits and vegetables, rotisserie chicken, cheeses, olives and tapenades, and locally caught fish! Since 2025, a stall has offered excellent Thai dishes to take away or eat in.
Off-season – between October/November and May – you can find Thai dishes at their brand-new restaurant on Avenue de Miramar. L’Air du temps on the road to Théoule and La Marea at the foot of the residence. It is advisable to call ahead to reserve and confirm opening times.
For those seeking relaxation, a private beach is available with sun loungers and parasols for daily rental. For those who wish to explore, a ferry service is available during the season to Théoule town center and Cannes, from where you can visit the Lérins Islands.
You can also take a day trip to Monaco by train from Le Trayas or Théoule station. The train runs along the coast, offering incredible views. You arrive directly in Monaco, perfect for exploring on foot.
For the more active, the Esterel Massif and its hiking and mountain biking trails are directly accessible via the Chemin du Soleil d’Or (Golden Sun Path), which runs alongside the residence (trail guide available in the apartment).
For those interested in learning to sail or enjoying other water sports (wakeboarding, tubing, e-foiling, paddleboarding, kayaking, pedal boats), the BATSKI water sports center is located on the beach.
Pétanque is also part of Provençal culture, and a brand-new court is available at the port next to the harbor master’s office.
La Figueirette is surrounded by numerous golf courses, including Mandelieu, less than 20 minutes away, and Cap Esterel, a maximum of 30 minutes by car.
For wine lovers, and depending on opening times, it’s possible to take a boat trip from Cannes to Île Saint-Honorat to taste the wines of the monks of Lérins Abbey during the Vine and Wine Days. Plan your visit and consider having lunch at the La Tonnelle restaurant on the island. In the center of Théoule, the Arts and Wine Fair takes place every October, offering the opportunity to meet winemakers and taste their wines.
